Multi-Factor Authentication – member accounts accessed online via PATROL utilize LAPFCU’s Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) service to protect data from unauthorized internet access and cyber fraud attack.
MasterCard® SecureCode – a simple and secure way to pay on-line for goods and services at thousands of participating on-line sites. Using a private code, the security feature enhances existing MasterCard accounts by protecting against unauthorized card use.
Verified by Visa® – provides enhanced password protection capabilities, ensuring that only members or designated users can purchase on-line with the member’s Visa card.

Identity Theft 911® – works with LAPFCU to assist members in the event of identity theft or fraud; helps protect member accounts if identity theft occurs, providing services to minimize loss and protect credit rating.
LAPFCU’s Education Team – provides fraud awareness & prevention programs for members; additionally, free guidance is offered if a member’s identity is stolen.
