(Van Nuys, CA, November 17, 2008) - Ron Guzman has been named Vice President of Loan Services for Los Angeles Police Federal Credit Union (LAPFCU). In his new position, Guzman will be responsible for overseeing the Mortgage and Consumer Loans, as well as Collections departments for the Credit Union.
“We are very pleased to welcome Mr. Guzman to LAPFCU,” explained Carol Martin, LAPFCU Senior Vice President of Operations and Member Relations. “Ron has an incredible breadth of lending experience which will help us to most effectively address our member lending needs.”

Guzman comes to LAPFCU from Metrocities Mortgage in Sherman Oaks where he served as Regional Vice President-National Operations Manager. In addition to overseeing 110 employees nationally, Guzman was responsible for managing all aspects of the Loan Origination Fulfillment Center, including developing and implementing new processes, recruiting/training and improving operational efficiencies and technologies to increase productivity.
Prior to his work at Metrocities, Guzman served as Regional Vice President/Loan Fulfillment Site Manager for Washington Mutual Bank; Divisional First Vice President, Countrywide Home Loans; Senior Manager Financial Services, Price Waterhouse LLP; and Regional Vice President, Great Western Bank.
