(Van Nuys, CA, May 2, 2007) - Carol Martin has been promoted to the position of Senior Vice President of Operations and Member Relations for Los Angeles Police Federal Credit Union (LAPFCU). In her new position, Martin will be responsible for overseeing the Operations and Communications, Loan Services and Marketing departments for the Credit Union.
"As our long-time senior vice president of operations was retiring, we wanted to replace the position with someone who we knew could fill very big shoes," explained G. Michael Padgett, LAPFCU President/CEO. "Carol was our first choice as she has a wealth of finance experience and a successful track record of serving the Credit Union."

Martin, who has more than 25 years of experience within the lending and operations fields, comes to her position after serving for three years as Vice President of Loan Services at LAPFCU. In that position, she was responsible for helping to build LAPFCU's loan portfolio and product offerings; within the past year alone, she oversaw the addition of 12 new mortgage products. Prior to her work with LAPFCU, Martin held roles as Vice President Lending, Vice President Human Resources, Vice President Compliance/Risk Analysis and Vice President Operations with Premier America Credit Union.
