To apply for a My First Visa^® Credit Card:

Members must be between the ages of 17- 22 with an open LAPFCU checking account. To apply without a co-signer, the applicant must be a minimum of 18 years of age. The applicant must also be one of the following:

• A Student - enrolled in an accredited college or university with a minimum of 12 units, or full time at a trade school; has $200.00 verifiable monthly gross income (income verification may be a letter of financial support from parent or guardian), and no unsatisfactory credit or banking history.
• A First-Time Borrower - employed full or part time for one year or more; has $500.00 verifiable monthly gross income and no unsatisfactory credit or banking history.
• If Neither Applies - they may apply with a qualified cosigner.

After that the APR as of May 1, 2010 will be 13.99% to 17.90% based on your creditworthiness. **Cash advance transactions are subject to a cash advance fee which shall be the greater of $2.00 or 2% of the amount of the advance which is posted to the account during the billing cycle, but not to exceed $25.00 per cash advance. Cash advances do not have a grace period, finance charges will be assessed starting the day the charge is posted to your account.
