Los Angeles Police Federal Credit Union (LAPFCU) would like to extend its support to Management Aide (Wilshire Division) Deatrice "Dee" Thomas, an 18-year veteran of the Department, who underwent surgery for a critical and catastrophic illness in January 2008. Due to complications from her surgery, she remained in serious condition and hospitalized until April 2008. Two weeks prior to her release from the hospital, her apartment building burned to the ground, along with all her possessions, leaving her with nothing. A donation account has been established at LAPFCU to assist Deatrice.
